Mortgage Checklist

The following information is usually required during the loan process:

  • All Borrowers social security number, Date of Birth and Full Legal Name
  • Current pay stubs or, if self employed, your tax returns for the past two years
  • Bank statements for the past two months(if not a TBFCU account)
  • Investment account statements for the past two months (if using for down payment or assets requirements)
  • Life insurance policy
  • Retirement account statements for the past two months
  • Personal loan account information (Not reported on credit bureau-i.e. loans from relatives, buy-here-pay-here auto dealers, etc.)
  • Divorce or bankruptcy papers may be required if less than 4 years old.

If you currently own Real Estate:

  • Mortgage account information (Payment, Escrow, rate, minimum payment)
  • Home insurance policy information
  • Home equity loan account information or recent statement (if applicable)
